SDR Manager

About the Role

This is a hands-on leadership role owning the outbound sales development function at a fast-growing, AI-first HR tech company backed by Y Combinator and recently closed at Series A. You will build and coach a team of SDRs, refine the outbound playbook, and drive qualified pipeline for Account Executives at a pivotal moment in the company's growth.

What You'll Do

• Manage and coach a team of SDRs and BDRs day-to-day, running 1:1s, reviewing calls, and holding the team accountable to pipeline targets.

• Own CRM hygiene, sequence management, and activity tracking across the team using tools such as Clay, Amplemarket, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.

• Build and continuously refine outbound playbooks, messaging frameworks, and processes as the team scales from two to six or more reps.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing and Account Executives on sales enablement assets, ICP refinement, and campaign strategy.

• Report on team performance and pipeline health to leadership, identifying what is working and what needs to change.

What We're Looking For

• 3 to 6 years of B2B SaaS outbound experience, with at least 1 to 2 years managing or leading an SDR or BDR team with documented performance metrics.

• Proven ability to build or scale an outbound function at an early-stage or resource-constrained startup (sub-50 person company).

• Proficiency with sales engagement platforms and CRM systems such as Salesforce, Outreach, or Apollo.

• Track record of building and optimising outbound sales cadences and processes from the ground up.

• Comfortable in a scrappy, fast-moving environment where you shape the function rather than inherit a finished one.

• Experience outbounding to HR buyers or working in the HR tech space is a strong plus.

• Familiarity with sales analytics, pipeline forecasting, or revenue operations is a bonus.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: £75,000 to £85,000 per year. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
